Dr. Lev Mark Khitin is a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon specializing in treating venous disease. He is the medical director and founder of New York Vein Treatment Center, a premier veins treatment clinic exclusively dedicated to the complex vascular evaluation and comprehensive treatment of circulatory disorders of the lower extremities.
Having almost 20 years of treating venous insufficiency and successfully performing over 20,000 vein treatment procedures, Dr. Khitin is a leading expert in diagnosing and treating vein disease. He takes a comprehensive, patient-centered approach, and combined with his experience and advanced surgical skills, Dr. Khitin and his staff can provide patients with excellent results.

Only the upper half of my legs for vericose veins aka “venous insufficiencious”. Dr. K reassured me we could get this fixed on the bottom half of both my legs since I didn’t know there was even a diagnosis for something like this. I really appreciated the education he gave in the thorough consultation I had. We scheduled the procedure and it was as comfortable as possible, and Dr. Khitiv and all of his staff were so accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend laying face in the massage style chair for any face down procedures. I thought it was very comfortable and definitely seemed more ergonomic. Post procedure was great as well. I had some bleeding and swelling I was worried about when I got home. Called the office, they offered for me to come back in so they could take a look, but I live outside of Manhattan, so I ended up sending pictures of my leg via email, and they called me back right away to address my questions, and offered for me to come in at any point for something abnormal post procedure. What's important for me is that Dr. Khitin is able to dissolve any nervousness I have before a medical procedure. Trying to get treatment in several other places but every time something comes up to the point that I gave up (not following up with insurance/ changing doctors etc) The moment I walked into this clinic I felt so eased and relaxed!
